This is my risk assessment and it is what is needed before filming (basic). This is to make sure everything is safe and no one is injured and no damage is done to any equipment during filming.

The background of the new song...

The new song I have chosen is called 'Impossible' by Shontelle. There is another version to the song which James Arthur, the winner of the Xfactor covered. As the character is a girl, in my mum, it would not be right if I covered James Arthur's version of the song. The song has a sort of depressing feel to it. This is because it is reasonably slow and the original way the song was sang is with passion and that is exactly the way I will portray the meaning of the song.

Whole new change of plan.

Over the christmas half term I decided to scrap the old song I was recreating a video which was to Labrinth's 'Express Yourself' and change to another one which would have fitted the scenario better. The reason I have decided to change it is due to the fact that the actors/actress' that had said they would be in the previous video have a lack of commitment and are not as interested as they previously were. I think that my new idea will work and I already filmed the majority of the footage over half term.

Filming update

By this time next week I should have a few sequences edited together in order to show something of my work. I feel as if after tonight in which I am filming I will be ready to start pulling some scenes together in order to make my music video successful.

Shooting Update..

I will  be shooting my footage tonight or tomorrow night, in order to bring some footage together to ge tmy first edit in place hopefully for sometime next week. The footage which I shot at the weekend  is not yet in a stage in which it can be edited together so this is why I will be taking it out this week.

Editing update:

The footage that i have taken over the weekend is not yet in a state as which it can be edited properly as i need to fill in a few gaps, this will mean I will be taking a camera out one night next week.

Problems with filming

I have had a slight problem this weekend with filming. What has happened is one of my cast members has been away all weekend. This meaning I have had to re schedule the filming containing this cast member un till next weekend.
